Wind resistance EN 12211 & EN 12210 : VC4

Doors subjected to gusts of wind may be certified by European standards (EN 12211 and EN 12210). This performance feature guarantees that external doors are wind resistant. To do this, the doors will be subjected to increasing pressure in both directions to simulate violent winds.
The entire door set must remain in place and no accessories may be wrenched off (glazing, door closer, handle, etc.).

This performance feature is often associated with air tightness and water tightness. Indeed, these are commonly known collectively as AWW performance features (air-water-wind).

Thanks to their robust Metal+ structure, Heinen doors can withstand great pressure and despite such pressure the distortions observed after the test are minimal.
