COOKIES
Our website uses cookies to enhance the functionalities it offers. Cookies are data stored on your device that allow the site to retain certain information about you for a better browsing experience.
We use various cookies for specific purposes:
- Necessary cookies: These are used to ensure various features function correctly on the site. These cookies do not collect any personal data.
- Cloudflare cookies: Cloudflare is a CDN (Content Delivery Network) that allows certain resources to be delivered faster based on the user’s location. To enable individualized browsing, the Cloudflare cookie differentiates multiple users sharing the same IP address (e.g., four users connected to the WiFi of a fast food restaurant). This cookie does not store any personal data that can identify the user.
- Functional cookies: These improve the user experience when using certain site features. For example, they can save the user’s address to automatically fill in the “address” field of a form, avoiding the need for manual entry.
By clicking the “I accept” button, you agree to the use of cookies (Article 6, 1, a of the GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time by clicking the “Cookie Policy” button at the bottom right of your screen. If you choose not to allow cookies, some functionalities may be affected.
CONTACT FORM
You agree that the data collected through this form will be stored by Heinen for practical purposes (e.g., if Heinen needs to contact you). This data will not be shared with third parties and will only be used for the purpose for which you completed this form. You can view, modify, or delete your data at any time by contacting us at info@heinen-doors.com.
GOOGLE ANALYTICS
For purely statistical purposes, we use Google Analytics to determine daily website traffic. Google Analytics uses cookies to track user activity on the website. Before the user consents to the cookie policy, the IP address used is anonymized, meaning the last octet (IPv4) or last 80 bits (IPv6) of the IP address are set to zero to limit geographic identification. Geolocation is also disabled to prevent location-based identification. Once the user accepts the site’s cookie policy, the IP address is no longer anonymized, and geolocation is activated. However, this data is used strictly for statistical purposes, and no IP address will be linked to a specific user. The Google Analytics tracking cookie expires automatically one month after acceptance, at which point a new confirmation will be required.
PERSONAL DATA
All data collected through cookies or site forms is stored in our database only if the user has given prior consent. This information will not be used under conditions other than those accepted by the user. The user has the right to access, modify, or delete their information at any time without providing a reason to Heinen. To do so, the user can contact the data controller via the form below. Additionally, they may file a complaint with their country’s regulatory authority (Article 13, 2, d of the GDPR).
Your data may be used for:
- Providing our services to the user. For instance, if the user has created an account on our site, we will use account-related data to notify them of any service changes.
- Enhancing the user experience.
- Improving interactions between Heinen and the user.
- Analyzing data to optimize site functionality.
- Communicating for commercial purposes.
- Other purposes for which we have obtained prior user consent.
We use secure protocols to protect the data collected through this site. However, despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee complete security. In case of a security breach, we will notify the appropriate authorities and inform affected users. We will take all necessary steps to prevent security vulnerabilities. Note: If a user has created an account on our site, it is essential to keep their username and password confidential.
