The Metal+ concept is at the heart of every Heinen door.

Single and double hinged door.
with mortared or bolted frame
The Heinen hinged door is built based on the METAL+ concept, giving it a consistent aesthetic regardless of the “security” features offered.
All doors are custom-made, whether it concerns:
- the various performance options offered;
- the finishes;
- the equipment and accessories;
- as well as the dimensions.
Surface mounted door
with mortared frame
The surface-mounted door has the same characteristics as the conventional hung door.
However, the installation differs. Whereas the frame of hung doors is fixed in the opening (tunnel fitting), that of surface-mounted doors is attached to the masonry.
Two-way door
with mortared frame
The two-way door, available in single and double versions, can be opened in both directions. These doors are fixed on pivot hinges which open the leaves to 90° on either side of the opening. The leaves have rounded joints enabling total opening to 180°.
Two-way doors can be locked if they are fitted with a deadlock at the top and/or bottom of the leaf.
Hatch & trapdoor

Hatches are small vertical doors while trapdoors are small doors fitted horizontally. Based on the Metal+ concept, the trapdoor and the hatch can be surrounded by a frame on all four sides. They have impressive basic performance features (mechanical resistance, frequency of use, 15-year warranty). They can be equipped with combinations of many other performance features (fire resistance, acoustic protection, burglary resistance, etc.).
Purpose-made, the trapdoors and hatches have minimum dimensions of 400 mm by 600 mm.
XXL swing door

An XXL swing door has the same characteristics as a conventional swing door…
except for the dimensions, which are exceptional. Heinen specialises not only in high-performance doors but also in amazing dimensions!
Double door with no priority direction of opening

A double door with no priority direction of opening looks identical to double hung doors from the outside, except that it has a rounded joint between the two leaves.
These two leaves are identical in construction and this joint makes it possible to open either leaf independently of the other, whereas with conventional double doors one of the two leaves is always fixed.
Frame and glazed unit

Heinen frames and glazed units are made using the same type of profile as the doors, based on the Metal+ concept.
These fixed frames, which may be solid or glazed, have excellent basic performance features. Other performance features can be added on a bespoke basis, depending on the choice of infilling and glazing.
All the fixed frames are made to measure and can be easily combined with one another and/or with Heinen doors.
It is not always necessary to paint the frame, as the cover plates have an original galvanised finish and do not use welding! The internal frames with a standard finish therefore have an attractive natural steel look.
The frames and glazed units are often placed around or near Heinen doors, whether glazed or not.
